I am so grateful to Jesus for the gift of another year. I am blessed and favoured by Him, I truly lack nothing (Psalm 23). I get to live inside answered prayers, and I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. My whole being belongs to the Lord, and I owe Him everything.

As I step into this new season, this new year, and this new assignment, my heart is open. God keeps making my purpose clearer, and my role is simply to pursue it relentlessly. Today I am filled with great joy and a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

The past season was full of transitions, re-branding, pivots, losses, growth pains, and dying to self. Yet, I see now that all of it was preparation for this next chapter. I would not have it any other way.

My gift to myself this year is simple but profound: to give Oyena the chance to become the best version of herself. To lock into discipline, live in commitment, stay faithful to her dreams, and surrender fully to her Lord.

Thank you, Path Finders, for journeying with me. When I began Uncommon Path, I had no idea what I was doing, but you joined without hesitation. Your feedback, your words, and your presence have validated this work and echoed in my heart. One day, this will grow into an even bigger ecosystem, but for now, I’m grateful you’re here.

My prayer for you remains the same as always: that you may find your path, walk it with courage, and experience peace and joy along the way.

As for today, when my friends asked how I wanted to celebrate, my answer was simple: to stay in bed and remain unbothered. Each year, I choose to spend this day quietly with myself and with the Lord, and that’s what I’ll be doing again.
