Dear Path Finder,
I pray that you find your purposeful path, walk audaciously in it, and inspire others to find theirs too.
Happy New Year, my dearest Path Finder!
I couldn’t let this day pass without wishing you joy, peace, and a beautiful year ahead.
As I spend my last few days ezilalini (in the villages) before returning to the big city, I want you to know this: I carry you in my heart.
Between making mulva pudding and pizza from scratch for my family, I’ve also been quietly building, laying foundations for the Oyena Dyasi Group.
But I’ve also been learning something new.
Just before Christmas, I took a few hard-core rest days, no phone, no laptop, no TV. Just silence and God. Because I realised my mind has been running, thinking about everything from my wardrobe to my goals, clients, invoices, Bible study plans, YouTube, travel — and and and.
And in those quiet days, God reminded me:
I don’t need to pursue anything from pressure, anxiety, or stress.
I don’t need to live like nothing will succeed unless my hands are constantly on it.
So while everyone is sprinting into the new year with plans and deadlines I want to tell you:
It’s okay to take your time.
It’s okay to ease into 2026 without pressure to perform.
Because you are on your own pace, on your own journey, and ultimately, God’s plan.
This year,
- You will complete your qualification.
- You will land your purposeful job.
- You will marry the love of your life
- You will heal from heartbreak or loss.
- You will move out. You will start again.
- You will grow.
- Things can change.
And if you ever need someone to stand in the gap with you in prayer, or simply someone to listen, please write back. You don’t have to journey your unique path alone.
To everyone who has been with me since my very first newsletter, thank you. I appreciate you deeply. And to the new Path Finders who have joined us, welcome. I pray this space becomes a source of encouragement and light for you.
As our theme goes, even in 2026:
May you find your purposeful path, walk audaciously in it, and inspire others to find theirs too.
Happy New Year 🙂
Shalom,
Oyena
