Mid-month Reflection & Gratitude

Dear Path Finder,

I pray that you find your purposeful path, walk audaciously in it, and inspire others to find theirs too.

Today’s newsletter is shorter than our usual lengthy “love letters” 🙂  You know by now that the tone of these letters is often one of depth, vulnerability, reflection, and calling you into purpose. But this morning, I felt led to bring a gentler offering to your heart.

It is traditionally accepted that reflections and encouragements are shared at the beginning of the week, month, quarter, or year, and rarely in the middle of it all. Yet today, I want to intentionally go against that rhythm and invite you to reflect even here, in the middle of the month.

Because the truth is that life does not always move according to the cycles society has designed for us. You do not wait for a Monday before tragedy finds you, and you do not wait for the beginning of the month before you are led into a valley season. Life happens in between the plans, the calendars, and the expectations.

So why should your healing, reflection, gratitude, or surrender wait for a perfect time?

My invitation to you today is not to reflect on failed goals or missed achievements. Neither is it an invitation to obsess over what still needs to be accomplished before the year ends. Instead, may you take a moment to pause and truly look at how far you have come.

Against all the challenges you have endured, the silent battles no one knows about, the disappointments, misunderstandings, losses, and moments where you almost gave up, here you are.

Even through difficult seasons, you are still standing. Somehow, despite everything, you are still choosing to love, still choosing to hope, and still choosing to believe God for more. Even when the future feels uncertain, you have not completely lost your hope in Him.

And when you are done reflecting, begin to praise the Lord. Offer gratitude to Him for sustaining and preserving you. He still pursues us. He listens even when we forget to pray, He guides us even when we do not enquire of Him, and even in our mistakes, He continues to work all things together for our good. His mercies are truly new every morning.

He remains sovereign, holy, and deserving of all our praise, not simply because we desire something from Him, but because of His divinity, His majesty, His kingship, and His fatherly love toward us.

May you experience the favour and exceeding blessings of the Lord this month. May these remaining weeks of May come bearing good news, breakthroughs, miracles, restoration, answered prayers, and unexpected joy.

And when it happens, please remember to share it with me!

A blessed weekend to you, my beloved.

With Love and Shalom,

Oyena
